Challenge

The new team was tasked with identifying key priorities for Hack The Box. Through user research, surveys and interviews, valuable insights were gathered that informed the strategy. The initial focus will be on enhancing the user experience by implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, a unified global profile, and improved account settings. Additionally, a larger project is underway to address frequent challenges with the reliability of the VPN service, which have arisen due to rapid platform growth.

Goal

The primary objective was to enhance the user experience of Hack The Box by consolidating its platforms into a cohesive, streamlined environment. This involved establishing a unified entry point and bolstering platform reliability by addressing technical issues, such as optimizing VPN access and implementing advanced user management features. These improvements align with Hack The Box's mission to provide a seamless and engaging cybersecurity learning experience.
