Industry
MIS by Publicis helps brands engage and activate audiences in Brazil through micro influencer marketing. They develop and execute creative influencer marketing strategies to amplify a brand story at scale and reach millions of people.
Challenge
MIS by Publicis was facing low adoption rates of their current creators facing platform. Most of the communication was handled via WhatsApp leading to clogged pipelines, frequent mistakes and an overwhelmed support team. Mis approached me with the need to revaluate the existing platform and develop a new system to free their funnel.
Goal
I led the end-to-end design direction of the web experience over the course of a 5 month period playing a critical role in scoping and prototyping a transformative feature set, while modernizing the product to deliver a refreshed landing page, webapp and mobile app.
My Role
As the lead product designer, I enabled the redesign of the creators side of platform and touched core app principles such as; The creators profile; Their ability to receive jobs from brands; Their ability to apply for brand campaign proposals; And the ability to deliver their work and receive payment all within the intranet.
Beyond the scope of design work, I investigated through surveys, and interviews each departments pain points. Intertwined in the roots of the product, we had: Staff who spoke to creators on a frequent basis, the middleman (who we worked to retire through this project) between the client and the creator, the creators who faced constant issues with submitting their work, the financial department who had to approve payment to creators post submission, and the sales team who had to garner quantifiable stats to share with new clients.
